Centennial Celebration

The centennial birth anniversary of our mentor and founder, Late Bhagwat Prasad Mittal (1923-2023) was celebrated at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mansingh Road, New Delhi, on November 22, 2023, with great honour, fervour and dignity.

All stakeholders, the core management team, international partners, key customers, along with family, friends and dignitaries, celebrated the event with lot of joy and excitement.

The event commenced with an Indian-classical-instrumental recital and then a short video presentation glimpsing the life of our founder.

This was followed by a speech by Mr. Anshu Mittal, son of Shri Bhagwat Mittal, the current promoter of the BMG International Organisation, sharing some cherished memories of his gifted father, the present enterprise, and the growth plans of the Organisation.

The program was further graced with an inspiring speech by Madam Verena von Mitschke Collande, the luminary chairperson of the Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) group of Germany.

Madam Verena was accompanied by her daughter, Ms.Celia von Mitschke Collande, Dr. Wolfram Seidemann (CEO, Giesecke & Devrient Currency technology GmbH), Mr. Clemens Berger (Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors, Papierfabrik Louisenthal GmbH) and Mr. Dominik Wallau, Counsellor of Financial affairs from the Embassy of the Federal Republic ofGermany, New Delhi, to grace the occasion.

G&D is a 170-year-old (still family-owned) pedigree Enterprise, and a world leader in the field of currency technology, having a talent pool of more than 14000 employees across the globe. G&D, a key supplier of banknote processing equipment and technology to the Government ofIndia since the 2000s, has also been successfully partnering with BMG International in India for almost two decades, to develop and indigenise security features for the Indian currency sector, with the most futuristic and advanced technologies.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by cocktails, and a gala dinner honouring the life of our iconic founder.
